Classic 6 month old: Toronto Baby Portrait Photographer
An adorable classic 6 month old baby girl came into the studio for her milestone session recently. I could have just eaten her up! Not to mention how much she has changed since her newborn session. Check out how much Miss. Ava has grown and don't you just love her little bangles? I have one almost identical to her tiny ones. A family heirloom from my Great-Grandmother. So seeing her wear the traditional East and West Indian jewellery made me smile big time. For Ava's session I aimed to focus on creating some timeless and classic images. As with all photography, the focal point should be on your baby, your style and a chance for me to tell your story with others. I was thrilled when mom brought the PERFECT little dress and diaper cover for her session. It's SO important to envision your images. Remember that these images are going to be displayed in your home for years to come. Trends and fad's in fashion come and go however, there are some styles that never go out of fashion. I just LOVE the neutral palette with her beautiful skin tone. Thanks Aditi and see you at 1 year!
Rowen 6 months: Durham Region Milestone Photographer
A whole 6 months has flown by already and boy how you've grown. Mr. Rowen has certainly changed since his newborn session. The tiny little guy has grown into the most handsome lil' dude! gorgeous gummy smiles and lots to curious expressions. Here are a few images from our session over the holidays. Thanks L & J. Reflections of 2012
A Year in review. Yes it's been a busy year for us all and while it's hard to believe 2013 is just hours away, so much has happened for us all. New homes, new babies, milestones and some hardships too. What we must never forget is how Blessed we are. To live in a free country, to have food on the table and a roof over our head. Life has a way of throwing us a wrench at times but knowing we are strong and faithful, we bounce back.
I am thankful for each and every newborn,maternity and family session I was able to capture memories for this year has been nothing shy of amazing! Durham Region and Toronto parents, thank you SO much for choosing Petra King Photography. Can't wait for 2013!

Newborn Baby Boy in Durham Region
It was like deja vu as I welcomed sweet baby Owen into the studio last week. A new baby boy in Durham Region. Meet baby Owen! Some strong genes in this family, as he reminded me so much of his big sister Olivia. Just gorgeous children! Olivia was a superstar and such a great little model for mom and Auntie who came in. Sweet Baby Plan Member: Charlie 8 months
Still as handsome and sweet as ever. Look how much Charlie has grown from his newborn session. That contageous smile and those gorgeous baby blues. Outdoor Maternity Session in the Durham Region
Fall is such ans AWESOME time of year. My favorite by far! While mother nature turning a new leaf (pardon the pun) it's a fabulous time to be outdoors for a maternity session! Mom's are way more comfortable with the cooler temperatures now that the humidity has passed. The love of being outdoors often allows mom to be more relaxed and positively glowing! Its been a busy Fall for sure and for that I am ever so blessed and thankful to work with such awesome friends and clients. Three and a half years ago I watched as a little beautiful dark haired beauty was welcomed into a family. Mom and Dad we've known for quite a few years now and I am thrilled to announce baby #2 will be here this coming November!
