Family Happiness: Oshawa Newcastle Family Photography

Leo is 2: Oshawa Baby & Family Photography
I have known this handsome little guy since he was 3 months old. How lucky am I to watch and document his growth with his beautiful parents? In all my 17.5 years of business, Leo is the most polite, well mannered little boy I have ever met. Which speaks volumes for his parents.
Leo came in with his mom and dad to celebrate turning 2! We danced, giggled, cuddled and even tested out some of the studio’s props for good measure.
Outgrowing Baby milestones and graduating to toddler milestones are just as important and so much fun.

The most mezermizing eyes. How could I not freeze in time for mom and dad?
When you book a cake smash session with us, both mom and dad are more than welcome to join if your schedule allows. Being a part of your child’s 1st birthday celebration is fun, especially when we get to work together. Setting up for the exact moment your little one reaches for the cake for the first time.
Most of the time, this is your son or daughter’s first taste of cake. MOST of the time, mom and dad think their little one will dive right in like they do at home. But every now and then, babies like to surprise us. LOL! Scarlett was not impressed :)
It’s often a texture thing for babies. I mean, playing around with food at home is different. But there’s something about Icing that makes them either love or hate it. Just come prepared knowing that when she flicks it off her hands it’s going to land on mom or dad or my studio walls :).

Liam's Cake Smash Session:
We love cake smash sessions and documenting milestones and memories for you and your family. One of the first things I ask is if your baby has had cake before? I ask this for 2 reasons: One, so that mom and or dad are prepared it could go either way despite what baby loves at home it may be different while in the studio. And two because no matter what their reaction, I want mom and dad to know that we will capture some gorgeous memories together regardless.
We have worked hard over the years to make sure that your experience as well as your babies is a beautiful one. One of the most common reactions with babies during a cake smash session is aversion to texture. However with that being said, once they get a taste they are hooked ;)
Sweet Liam was pretty uncertain at the beginning but with mom’s help he got to taste a little bit. Here’s his reaction. What do you think? Haaaa.

Welcome to September! Kids are back to school and as we get adjusted to new routines this week ( or settle into old ones) with it brings a lot of mental and physical exhaustion. And of course germs and sickness. Being a parent is hard enough, but when your little one/s or family goes down for the count it all falls on mom right? Germs are everywhere and a part of our lives, but there are things you can do to help keep your families immune systems strong.
I’ve put together a list of my top 5 oils for motherhood that will help keep you and your family healthy. While still keeping your sanity too.

Thieves-this will be your game changer to keeping the family healthy. And when sickness hits, your recovery time will be drastically cut down. Thieves kills 99.96% of all airborne germs.
