Bowmanville Family Fun Photography
Can I tell you how much I adore this family? Earlier this year they moved out to Bowmanville and I couldn't be happier to hear that they wanted to do a fall family session. How awesome! You may remember them from years earlier and a certain Mr. Caleb from a Tiny Light Foundation. Check out how big he has grown! Beautiful weather, lots of giggles, some singing and marching. Perfect combination for some wonderful fall family fun memories!

Ajax Baby Bump: Maternity Session
Maternity sessions are beautiful! Every mom deserves some wonderful memories of this time in her life. So how should YOU prepare for your session? Well, maternity sessions in general I like to recommend scheduling them between 32 and 36 weeks. Often times, we have no control when our little one's will arrive, so it's usually best not to wait till the end when mom is tired and uncomfortable.
Your Preparation:
Maternity sessions are all about capturing your beauty during your pregnancy, and the miracle of the baby growing inside you. I want you to be relaxed and comfortable at all times. Make sure that this day is all about YOU! For this session we took advantage of Fall's natural beauty! Perfect temperature and gorgeous colors!
Your Clothing:
I like to suggest to my clients that when we do family maternity sessions or simply family sessions alone, try to think of dressing everyone as one outfit. Meaning, you compliment eachother. To be all tied together rather than everyone sporting a different style. Being relaxed in your own skin so to speak, makes for relaxed and natural images.
Your Session:
Don't forget to breathe and enjoy the moment. The little details that I will help capture for you is MY job. Posed or lifestyle, you are the center of attention. Be yourself, don't be afraid to laugh or cry at the drop of a hat. This precious time in your life goes by quickly. So forget the swollen ankles, tiredness and hormones. You are awesome! Look at you glow!
This session is especially close to home for me. Allow me to introduce to you my sister and her family! I am so excited to share these images with you all. We had a great time together. The kids were super excited and can't wait till baby arrives! Neither can I!

Annual family portraits are something that we hold near and dear to us. Life is short... Live it to the fullest... Right?... For me, choosing to surround myself with those of utmost importance, both family and friends I believe will only make you stronger. In this day in age, it's hard not to get wrapped up in all things negative, petty and greed driven. However, keeping one's family values and morals in check can only lead to the greatest success of all. A strong family unit!
This lovely Ajax family I've known for the last 15+ years. Actually,mom and I go way back to HS. :) I was lucky enough to meet up with them last week and photograph the three of them. Meet Noah. All of 5 years old now. (Happy Belated Noah) and personality! WOW.. I just loved this little man! A kid after my own heart, no need to pose and work with him during our session. He told ME what he had in mind for our session. LOVE it! Cheers buddy. You were awesome!

Toronto Urban Family Portraits: Durham Region Photographer
There's something to be said about a family. This family has got it! A fun urban family session downtown at the Brickworks for this crew. Lots of giggles and personality. I loved every minute of it. Newborn Baby John: Growing families
Repeat business is absolutely wonderful! Walking into my wonderful clients home again I was instantly greeted with a shy, quiet and excited 3 yr old. My how she has grown! Call it deja vu and amazing clients, but when I go the call that they have added a new love to their life I was beyond thrilled! One look at little John and it instantly took me back to his big sister's newborn baby session 3 yrs ago. Certainly strong genes in this family!
Adrienne, Mark and big girl Lyla, thank you very much for having me welcome little John to the world. He is a beautiful little boy and was such a pleasure to work with. His smiles and little flirting melted my heart ;)

Baby Avery: Baby Plan Member for Petra King Photography
Meet the newest member of the Sweet Baby Plan little Avery! It was months ago when Dad and I spoke on the phone about her arrival and a newborn session. So when I got the call that she arrived I was very excited to finally meet her and the whole family. Mom, Dad and big Bro Evan came to hang out with me while we did her newborn session.
