Being a new mom is pretty scary and overwhelming at times right? I mean, there is so much information thrown at you from day one and everyone and they're Auntie has some words of wisdom (or old wives tales) for you. Hee hee. And let’s not get started at the fake news online.

I’ll tell you one thing about Motherhood that isn’t scary though. Knowing you aren’t alone. Having a community of friends and family that you can trust and that genuinely care about you. Finding you tribe, person or people (whatever that looks like) is something we all need. We are social creatures and let’s face it. Life is so much better when you have a support system in place. Sharing what works, swapping recipes, going out for coffee/tea dates it’s the health, mental and wellness you and your family need. Because let me tell you, that first year goes by so fast!

When it comes to our children (and our own wellbeing) we only want the best. Making little improvements everyday to live a better, healthier quality of life is something I am very passionate about. Before your arrive at the studio I run through a routine that I’ve been doing for years. Starting with a deep clean, removing all items from the studio. Floors are first, I use Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner. It’s all natural, plant based, ultra concentrated and non abrasive. I use it on all floors and surfaces, change table, high chair, door handles, toys etc. All throughout my home. No residue, no synthetic fragrances, no harsh chemicals and safe for children and pets too. Oshawa Maternity Studio: Healthy Motherhood & Family Low Tox Living

Our Classic Maternity sessions are our most popular session with moms to be. Typically mom will come in by herself or with her husband/partner or SO. But every once in a while the whole family will join in on the celebration.
