Annual Christmas Minis 2021
OMG it’s S-A-N-T-A! Tell me you love the movie Elf without telling me you love the movie Elf. ;)
First of all I APOLOGIZE this has taken me so long to get out. Once we reopened after lockdown it’s been go go go. Which is amazing, but as any business owner will test to, some things need to be put on hold. I am a one woman show so my apologies for the tardiness.
In case you are new here welcome! For our PKP Aspen Family, thank you for another incrediable year of Christmas Minis. This past Christmas marked 5 years for the studio and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. If you missed out we are truly sorry but do hope to see you next year.
Guys…Our Christmas Minis for 2022 will launch Friday July 15th via our Newsletter for our VIP’s! Mark your calendar’s. Public launch will be on Sunday July 17th! Stay tuned on Instagram for more details or Subscribe to our Newsletter!
We had 2 dates this past Christmas. One Santa made an appearance and the other was Christmas Minis without Santa.
We have SO many gorgeous images to share with you but here are some highlights from both dates. We had fun seeing all the little girls and boys and the kids had a blast too!

Hello friends,
Well here we are first week of March and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write this blog post entry. We can thank the Pandemic for throwing us all for a loop! Regardless though I can/t wait to share this with you.
Our Christmas Mini Sessions this year was themed SugarPlum Fairies & Nutcrackers at home. Yep…we thought it was appropriate considering lockdown was looming (at that time)
PKP loves supporting local when we can, so when this event was planned we knew that we wanted to work with some of our favourite local businesses. We were lucky enough to do just that and were so honoured to work alongside the following:
Aspen Florist ~ K. Mitchell Design Co ~ Pink Lemon Decor ~ Sweetery.ca ~ Bella Fleur Boutique
Check out what STUNNING set we had in store for our beloved clients this year.
Oh my goodness did we ever have fun! Check out all the sweetest little ones and portraits we captured this past year.
More cuties here….
If you’ve enjoyed going through these sweet little ones and their HUGE excitement for Christmas to come I thank you for being here. These are just a few we wanted to share with you. Check out our Instagram Page for more of these adorable sessions.
We hope you will join us for our 2021 Christmas Mini Sessions. We typically roll out early as we do sell out fast. If you are a PKP Insider you will have access to the Early Bird release so if you aren’t already, feel free to sign up to our newsletter and see you next year!
As always, a HUGE Thank You to Aspen Florist. We LOVE creating events and the best in portrait experiences for our clients with you. To our partners this past year…what can we say…. you KILLED IT! Seriously…we were all blown away and so honoured to have you join us this year.
To our clients, and new PKP members… we are SO very grateful for you. You guys are the best and we can’t wait to do it all again with you in the near future.
Much love,
Petra

Love Squared Kids: Meet the Maker
Meet Durham Region’s Best Beanie maker Farah and her sweet family! Okay can we just take a hot minute and crush on these beautiful girls of her’s? I mean come on!!
Farah came into the studio over the holidays ( yes that is how far behind in blogging I am lol) and boy did we have fun! The girls came in with matching pj’s and sporting mom’s super cute, comfy and stylish beanies. So naturally I had some fun with these 2 silly sweet girls.
LOL at the images above. So let me break this scene down for you. Mom would love some beautiful portraits for home. Kids being kids..they are curious to see what was inside the prop Christmas presents.. Mom and Dad mortified they were trashing the set I laughed and winked at mom and said…let’s see where this goes.
Squeals and giggles, as the girls did their best to open the props. Check out those last 2 photos haaaa…the littlest one says “auntie” (me)…it’s empty! LOL we laughed so hard! But don’t worry, the session was pretty much done at this point and since these beauties were my last of 2018 I had a special little treat for them that they went home with.
Signing off 2018 with a tickle fest! They are the best right? (on someone else tho not me lol)
If you’d like to check out more of Farah’s work, you can visit her shop over at: Love Squared Kids or pop on over to her Instagram page! But hurry! She sells out Quick!
Much love,
P xo

These 2 beauties were so silly and funny and clearly loved Grandma big time! Take a peak at some of what we captured that day in studio.
Jessica thank you so much! I hope the memories we crated this day will be cherished and loved by Grandma for years to come!
