Well Mother’s Day is just around the corner.  We ALL at some point wonder..what to get mom?  So Petra King Photography is running a contest just for MOM’S!!  No kids…no pets…no husbands…did I say no kids? 

So all you kids and dads out there with the World’s Best Mom come nominate her for the “Bling for Mommy” contest.  If she’s the lucky winner she’ll recieve a complimentary session ( 1 hour of my time/travel) including a free 8×10 image from your session ALONG with a beautiful handmade  Amethyst & Swarovski crystal necklace!!!   The necklace is a VERY generous donation from Xpressions by S.W ( see link under Links of Interest!)  Once the entries are in, the finalists will be posted on my blog and voted on by the public. Please submit a ( non-professional) picture to petraking@rogers.com.  Contest runs from Friday April 25th and will end Friday May 2nd!

Contest Rules:

*Describe in 100 words or less why “your” mom should win.  Entrants must also submit one photo of your mom.  All photos submitted must be non-professional. We take no responsibility whatsoever for copyrighted materials being submitted to this contest. By submitting a copyrighted photograph to this contest, you are accepting all legal repercussions that may arise from the owner of the copyright.

*Entrants may be from anywhere in the Durham Region and surrounding areas up to 30 min away.

*All complimentary items are based upon receipt of a signed model release.  A signed model release is required for such use, and will be needed to receive complimentary items. By entering this contest you are allowing Petra King Photography to post the submitted photo of your mom in a public manner on a blog, website or in display promoting the Bling for Mommy contest.

*The winner must book their session within 2 weeks of being named the winner. In order to receive their complimentary session, (1) 8×10 image and necklace the session date must take place before July 1, 2008.

*Complimentary session MUST be of the mom who wins. NON-TRANSFERABLE.

*Any additional prints purchased are at the published standard prices. All sales are final.   

*Approximate value of prize is estimated at over $180.00!

So today I travelled to Newcastle and had the pleasure of meeting such a fun, cool family.  Thanks for opening your doors to me. I had fun and some good laughs too!  This blue eyed heartbreaker is 3 weeks old and was such a trooper!  Boy he can eat like a champ! :)  And oh so tiny!
